Assistant Resident Engineer / Sr. Construction Inspector

Mr. Carlenzoli has worked as an Assistant Resident Engineer, Senior Inspector and Assistant Project Manager in the construction industry for more than 14 years. He is well versed in inspecting, documenting and administering projects in accordance with Federal, State (Caltrans) and Local Agency procedures and requirements, and is has thorough knowledge of the Caltrans Local Assistance Procedures Manual.  His projects have undergone several oversight agency audits and he has performed extremely well.  He has performed consultant inspection for Caltrans on several large scale infrastructure projects.  As a lead Inspector and Assistant Resident Engineer working on major infrastructure projects in the City of Woodland, Mr. Carlenzoli acquired vast experience in many aspects of roadway, street lights, signalized intersections, box culvert, utility, sewer, storm drain and conveyance systems, detention ponds, water supply systems, landscape, curb, gutter and sidewalk construction.  He has provided daily inspection and documentation of all types of subdivision improvements, as well as worked in and adjacent to Environmentally Sensitive Areas (wetlands, vernal pools and endangered species). He is well versed in performing Storm Water Pollution Prevention Program (SWPPP) inspections and documentation and is very familiar with Caltrans Standard Plans and Specifications. Prior to working as a Construction Inspector, Mr. Carlenzoli was an Assistant Construction Manager, where he worked on multiple school modernization projects in the Sacramento and Woodland School Districts. Mr. Carlenzoli is also experienced in many facets of the Administration of Construction Projects, including: conducting weekly construction meetings, tracking submittals, responding to RFIs and PCOs, preparing daily reports, verifying quantities, and reviewing and interpreting plans and specifications. Mr. Carlenzoli performs his work with the professionalism, concern and a true sense of ownership. While never forgetting his role as a quality assurance inspector, he is constantly looking for ways to expedite the project and/or head off issues before they become problems.  Because he is very personable, intelligent and well spoken, he is able to quickly form positive working relationships with all parties working on the job site.
