With more than 14 years of construction administration and inspection experience on major infrastructure projects, Mr. Beck brings sound engineering judgment and knowledge to the job site.  He has performed all the duties of the Resident Engineer and Structure Representative on a variety of projects, including complex highway interchanges. He has also been a consultant Assistant Structures Representative on several Caltrans Office of Structure Construction projects, including a $77 million highway and interchange project involving multiple bridges and ramps.  He has been the lead structure/civil inspector on a variety of projects, including a new $13.5 million freeway interchange for the City of Sacramento.  The vast majority of his project experience is working directly with Caltrans or under Caltrans oversight, and in compliance with the Caltrans Local Assistance Procedures (LAP) Manual.  Mr. Beck is very familiar with the many elements of a large scale bridge and highway improvement project, including all phases of falsework construction and removal, bridge, shoring, roadway, freeway and ramp construction, including extensive utility and storm drain construction.  He has extensive experience with large diameter Cast-In-Drill-Hole (CIDH) and Cast-In-Steel-Shell (CISS) piling.  During several of his projects he has monitored major freeway traffic control operations.  Mr. Beck proved that he is capable of competently and effectively administering infrastructure projects with little or no oversight.  His ability to thoroughly document and administer the project in accordance with local agency requirements, as well as in accordance with the Caltrans’ LAP Manual, makes him well suited for any public works contracts.  He is eager to take on new challenges and has proven that he can excel in this type of an environment. Mr. Beck is well spoken and confident, has a positive and gregarious attitude, and has a tireless work ethic that sets him apart.  He also has a natural ability to quickly form positive and productive working relationships with all those with whom he associates.
